The Short and sweet Pitch
From the desert wastes of the Narz lands, to the northern Icewilds of Snoe, The Children of Reckoning creates a fully realised fantasy world where things are not what they seem. Young mercenaries, valorous knights, zealous priests and ruthless barbarians vie for any advantage as they navigate political conspiracies and circumstantial twists at a relentless pace.
The foreign Arneut have reigned over the Treles Peninsula for just over a decade, yet King Aycan’s determination to govern fairly has done nothing to quell civil unrest. Unbeknownst to the king, the native peoples, the Keltir, have suffered through extortion, enslavement, banishment and murder. Meanwhile, the Children of the Reckoning (the knightly class of the Arneut) and the Order of Dawn (religious followers) have been spreading hateful propaganda against the Keltir, and a fever for genocide is taking hold.
With conspiracies underway and undetected, friends turn into enemies as social distinctions break down in a toxic atmosphere of scheming and unintended consequences. When four young men – Deule, Astartes, Damian and Kale – join the mercenary guild, they find themselves caught up in more than they bargained for.
Available now from all major bookstores – including WHSmith and Borders.
Also available online from Amazon and other major internet sellers – Google is the best way to find them.
